After the positive response gained from the pilot programme of the advanced financial adviser diploma, ifs School of Finance is planning to launch the course this autumn. The diploma course will be set at QCA level 4. It includes practical skills like the communication with the clients along with sound technical knowledge.
Mr. Phil Hall, Media and public affairs head, ifs School of Finance, said "One of the biggest complaints from consumers is that they do not understand what the adviser is saying." The study of the course would be on distance learning basis, and it would require 250 hours of work. The registration would start in October or November after the accreditation for the course is gained.
