- Read the entire questions thoroughly to see how you need to apply yourself. Sometimes you might need to act as a mortgage broker, or it could be as a building society manager.
- Think general products. Although, if you are in the industry, your knowledge of your company's own products would undoubtedly assist you, the exam is based around common products not particular ones that you might deal with.
- Understand that you have 2 hours for each full exam paper but, in CeMAP 3, be conscious of how much time you need to spend on each case study.
- Check your calculations before you run out of time. There will always be questions which need you to do a calculation.
- Keep yourself active so that it will help you keep your concentration up. For every case study make notes of the key information as you examine the story.
